Service Related FAQ's

1. When does my billing start?

Billing starts on the first of the month. Services are prorated for the portion of the month if more then 20 days remaining. If less than 15 days remaining in the month that partial month is free and billing will be due for the first full month in advance

2. How can I pay for my services?

We accept most major credit cards via PayPal, eGold, Western Union and Virtual Global Bank (VGB).

3. Do I need to have a PayPal account?

No. PayPal does not require you to have a PayPal account to use their services when paying with a credit card. If you wish to make payments from a checking account you will be required to open a paypal account but they are free.

4. Do you charge for support?

We provide free support to our customers and will gladly provide support to non customers for a small fee.

5. When do I have to pay for my web design services?

We require at least 50% upfront to start and the 50% remaining upon completion of the project.  Full payment is also an option. Please remember that our services is a First Paid, First Done basis.

6. How long does it take to finish a web or graphics design project?

It depends on the complexity of the project. Small projects like Auto-Surfs (including the template, banners and template installation) normally is finished within 2 to 3 days under normal circumstances.

7. Do you provide content for websites?

Not at the moment.  Probably in the near future we will provide contents as a part of our services.

8. Do you give discounts on your services?

Yes. We do give discounts for regular and repeat order clients.  A Discount is a priviledge not a right.  This means that if a client received a discount once it does not mean that he will receive discount all the time.

9. How much "say so" do I have in the design of my site?

You are the customer that makes you in control. We ask for your ideas of how you would like to see the site turn out and keep steady contact with you while we are in progress to ensure that you like what we are doing.

10. How will you keep in contact with me while you are creating my site?

We all use the following messenger services: AIM from AOL, YM from Yahoo and MSN Messenger from msn.

11. Can I upgrade from 1 package to another or what if I out guess my needs?

Yes you are not locked into any package; you can change at any time with out any fee.

12. What if you do not have any packages that suit my needs?

Just let us know what your needs are and we will create a custom package for you.

13. Can I transfer my hosting account to someone else if I sell my website?

Yes all accounts are transferable. You will have to make sure that the account is paid up and that the new owner knows how to log in to the control panel. You will also need to notify us of the new contact e-mail so that we can continue to send billing information and other important A updates as well.

2. What is "Unmetered" bandwidth?

Included with every ACD dedicated server is a multi-homed, full-duplex 1.5 Mbps unmetered Internet access port. You can use as much Unmetered bandwidth/transfer as needed without ever worrying about bandwidth overages or extra charges. 3. What is the difference between Fully Dedicated Servers and Dynamic Dedicated Servers?

Dynamic Dedicated Server or DDS is ACD's brand name for its hosting solutions based on virtual private server technology (VPS). Virtual Private Servers have multiple virtual hosting environments or VEs on one physical host (computer) whereas a fully Dedicated Server has only one customer (you) on the physical host. 4. How long does it take to set up a new account?

All fully dedicated servers are custom built and tested by our engineering department after being ordered from our web site. It typically takes between 12 and 24 hours to set up a new fully dedicated server account (Note: some specialty orders can take longer). After your order has been verified, you can login to our Customer Service Center and track the progress of your install or ask questions of the engineering staff.

5. Do you have Windows servers?
